Hello,

     

     My name is Nicholas Sinclair Carey, and ever since I can remember, film and storytelling have been a passion of mine.  I was always curious to know the story of everything growing up, whether it was the way to make something, or the story of famous surfer who paddled out into a montrous swell.

     Now that I have the education and knowledge to start my career, making movies is what I want to do. It can be a documentary film, or a feature film, I want to experience making them all. Hard work and perstistance are values instilled in me by my father. He told me the word "quit" does not exist in this family, and since then, I have strived to live by that. Being an Emergency medical technition with the fire department, stressfull situations are a familiar thing to me; being tedious and surgical and getting the job done 100 percent are a common thing to see in the fire and medical feild, but so is thinking of ways to do things no one else has, trying new ways to go about an intricate task.

    These ideas and values are things that I carry with me all the time, whether I am filimg a documentary and trying to figure out where the best lighting would be, and wondering if I have to scale a building to get the next shot. Or if I am filming just for fun and just trying to tell a funny story. These values are all in me, and I want to bring them with me into the film industry, being creative, story telling, hard work are all things I like, because hard work makes you better.
